We stayed at a Lakeview home to visit family on the island. The home was extremely clean and had everything we needed and more. Our kids loved the big tub in the bathroom! The beds were comfy, the house was beautiful. So much better than a hotel, especially with small kids in tow. Thank you! We can't wait to come stay again!

I have stayed at 2 of the beautiful homes and would highly recommend them, and all of Karin’s rental properties. They come fully equipped and the furnishings and decor are top notch. Very clean and spacious. Everything for a wonderful relaxing vacation have been thought of. The location is central to many island attractions. Karin goes above and beyond for all her guests. Our stay at the Lakeview home was absolutely fabulous. This was our first time staying in Nanaimo and we really picked a winner. The house was large enough to accommodate us as a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). There was plenty of space for all to sleep and relax. There was a recreation room downstairs which was great for the kids to watch TV and play while the adults got to enjoy the upstairs. The house itself is in a great location less than 10 minutes from the Departure Bay ferry terminal and in close proximity to all your shopping needs. It comes fully stocked with everything you could need and more. Karin really made us feel welcome and even provided us with great ideas and outings to do around town. The best place in the house is of course the deck that overlooks Long Lake and the dock. Family breakfasts and dinners were so much more memorable because of the view. The walk down to the private dock from the lake is only a few meters and its a few minutes’ walk to the public sandy beach for swimming. The children thoroughly enjoyed using the watercraft's available and didn’t want to leave the water at all. We are already planning our trip for next year!  Zaher B - Maple Ridge B.C. July 2018 

Lakeview Homes provided some of the finest accommodations I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Suffice it to say, the home itself was beautiful, and completely met what myself and my family needed. Based on the home alone, I would recommend renting from Lakeview and consider it a 5 star business. What put them over the top, though, was the incredible one on one customer service I received when not only booking my rental, but arriving as well. Everyone I dealt with constantly went the extra mile to meet our needs and make sure we had the best possible vacation. I cannot say enough good things about how wonderful the management and staff were during the entire process. If I could give a rating higher than 5 stars, I would. Thank you!! Marlin January 2018 

Lakeview Homes is simply fantastic !! Karen is fabulous and very helpful. She goes over and above the call of duty to ensure you have everything you need and then some. I have stayed and rented from them several times on business as I travel quite a bit - sometime just for a week and other times for a couple of months. Very clean and comfortable. Three hockey Moms and our boys shared Lakeview home . We had such a great time. The house had everything we could possibly need. It was clean , comfortable and had lots of room for everyone. Everything we imagined and more! Our stay at Karin's Lakeview Home was just perfect! It was clean, well stocked, beautiful and Karin really goes out of her way to ensure the space works for the dynamics and needs of your group. I'd have to say that this is by far one of the best vacation rentals that I've ever been at. We'd absolutely return. The setting is also perfect and it was fantastic to have access to a well-maintained and stocked dock. The lifejackets and equipment were in great shape, and you save a lot of money and time without needing to travel and rent kayaks to access the lake. The location is also very convenient for groceries and any last-minute purchases needed. She takes a lot of pride in her properties and keeps the standard top notch!

We enjoyed our recent stay at Lakeview Homes very much. Karin was excellent to deal with - very responsive and provided lots of extra information on things to see and do. The home was beautiful, well-stocked and the location was awesome. Having kayaks to enjoy the lake was fantastic. And being able to enjoy it all with our dog was even better! Not too many vacation rentals allow pets so we were very happy to find such a nice home that allowed us to bring our furry family member. We would definitely rent through Karin again. We had a wonderful family gathering at Lakeview Homes. We were so fortunate to spend time there with our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one of my sisters! The location is perfect, grocery shopping is close and we were out and about on some beautiful hikes and visited the ocean at Qualicum Beach. Our family stayed at Garden Paradise when we arrived in Canada for 4 weeks. Karin was so welcoming and helpful to us newbies, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful Holiday with big family at Lakeview Home. We were 8 Adults and 3 children and 1 baby. The house was very clean through out. Spacious Kitchen, Dining and Living room with fantastic lake views. Master Bed room was very big my grand daughters loved to splash in the tub. House came with many water activity items and Kitchen Items. Karin, the owner is very effecient for communication. Whenever I text her she replied right back. Fantastic Home in an unbeatable location!!  We rented this house for 5 golfers. Everyone had a bedroom and the house comes as advertised. Everything you will need is in the house and it was very clean and comfortable. Just bring your food and swimsuit and you won’t want to leave. Upon arrival for a weekend get away we were greeted by an awesome couple Karin and Scott and of course the house mascot Gizmo. We were offered Fresh home baked blueberry scones and rhubarb muffins. After a long drive and ferry ride we were excited to get out on the lake to do some water sports, paddle boarding, water skiing and surfing were all the order of the afternoon. The accommodations were second to none.... very clean rooms, comfortable beds and nice decor. If you are ever visiting Nanaimo look up Lakeview Homes for a getaway stay or a work stay, Awesome time . We recently stayed at Lakehouse Terrace. It was breathtaking. Just steps from the lake with a nice sized deck to lounge on all day. There was even a shed with inner tubes to use and kayaks! The house was huge. There was definelty not a lack of space. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need to prepare family meals including some staples such as olive oil, coffee, spices and more. Definitely one of our best weekends yet this summer. THE ONLY PLACE I'LL STAY There's not enough stars for this review! Lakeview Homes is the ONLY place I plan on staying from now on when I come to visit Vancouver Island! The owner, goes above and beyond!! Booking directly with her saved us from having to deal with fees from the usual online travel agencies, not to mention it was effortless. She greeted us upon arrival, gave us many ideas about what to do in the area on top of some great local spots that I never knew about! The house was immaculate! It was more comfy than the average hotel and had everything we could possibly need and more! She thought of everything!! I am truly in shock of how well-equipped it was and how beautifully decorated everything was!! She truly treated us like family! Stayed at a Lakeview Homes suite before I made my move to Nanaimo for a couple of months. The homes are beautiful and affordable. The suite I stayed at was a nice open space, fully furnished with everything I needed and even had a great sunny patio to sit and BBQ if I wanted. Great central location and walking distance to one of my favorite lakes/beaches (Long Lake). Karin and her staff were wonderful and so accommodating.
