Very accommodating and helpful 5 of 5 Stars. I highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a no-hassle, comfortable, short or long term rental. Karin had been very accommodating and helpful in every single way. The house is very well maintained and everything you need is there. Stay at Long Lake, Nanaimo 5 of 5 Stars The description and photos correctly reflect the property which is located on the Shore of Long Lake. I have stayed at this property twice in the fall season and found the property very cozy. The property is very well maintained both inside and out and spotless in cleanliness. The property is very well presented with quality fittings and appliances and internet access – everything that I needed for our stay. I was in contact with the owner Karin on occasions when arranging my stays and found her to be very warm, friendly and helpful. We had a hire car during both stays and the home was a great base for us to do our day trips. I could easily live in this home and location and have already recommended it to my friends. Love at the Lake 5 of 5 stars This is my group’s second stay at this great spot. House was just as pictured. We totally enjoy the “at the lake” feel. House is fully equipped, very clean and Karin is a great host. Excellent location, close to all amenities and on the North side of Nanaimo closest to Parksville, Long Beach etc. 10 times better than a hotel. The dock and the lake are wonderful. Hospitality at its best I have recently had the privilege of staying in one of the Lakeview Homes in Nanaimo. It definitely was not by accident that I chose this facility, as I had in the past had the pleasure of staying at the owners B&B prior for many years and on several occasions. I thought the service, accommodations; friendliness could not get any better. I was once again amazed at the homes at Lakeview. Karin and her staff exceeded my expectations. The house was immaculate, warm and inviting, a place where I could leave work behind and just absorb everything this area had to offer. The dock was perfect to sit at and have a picnic lunch. Watching the rowers in the morning was fantastic. I saw a beaver making its way up the lake, and even had a quick glance at an eagle. I was deeply saddened when my vacation came to an end and I had to go back to reality. Karin’s smile and hospitality takes second place to none. I will return next summer. Lovely Lakeside Property 5 of 5 Stars A great place!  We spent a lot of time sitting and relaxing on the deck, watching boaters, water skiers and swimmers enjoying the lake. Three bed-roomed home, great for families and groups of people. This is a very clean and tidy home.  A well fully equipped kitchen. Close to highway, supermarket and shopping malls. Beautiful house! I can honestly say it’s the most luxurious place I’ve ever stayed Really appreciate that amazing shower in the masters’ suite. Amazing views and all the wildlife was great to see just from the deck. Down to the beautifully shallow, clear and cool water to wade. Fantastic. Loved it! We have done very little but relax, when it is what we wanted to do After a world wind tour of Canada over the preceding two weeks- this beautiful house offered us everything we needed to “Stop the world and get off”. The views from the windows helped us pass several hours “idle” watching the boats come and go. The kids loved playing freely on the accessible beach. If you want to wander, Newcastle Island is worth a visit for walking. One day we travelled north to Comox and caught the ferry to Powell River – beautiful views! Fantastic house. Beautiful home, wonderful time! Karin was always available (even as she was not in town – she made sure others checked in on us) and attentive. The home is beautiful and fully equipped – too bad we could not figure out how to operate the high-tech coffee machine. The location is great and the view priceless. Amazing place and fantastic host 5 of 5 Stars This is an amazing place for anyone looking to play or relax by the lakeside. You are a stone’s throw from the water which is often the perfect temperature when we visit. We have stayed at this place for the last few years in mid-July and we always look forward to our next trip. Karin is a great host who takes great care of us. Although it sounds odd for Victorians to “vacation” in Nanaimo (1.5 hours away), Long Lake is just that special. Karin has always been there to make our stays memorable. Very comfortable space and run by helpful people! 4 of 5 I stayed in the suite for three months while on a work placement.  The unit was very clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful view of the lake. It’s very close to library and groceries. Karin was quick to answer questions and provide assistance when needed. An Excellent Lakeview 2Bedrm cozy cottage stay! 5 of 5 My one month stay in this very clean, cozy cottage-type home was more than adequate for one person! The neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant. Parking was right at the front door! No safety issues to worry about. I was less than a 1000 yards from the public beach at Long Lake, as this lake is centrally located in the middle of the city of Nanaimo! Shopping was also very convenient! NANAIMO LUXURY WATERFRONT RENTAL – AT ITS BEST! My stay at the oceanfront house was beautiful and tranquil, but unfortunately was shortened from a one month stay, to a three week stay by an emergency admittance into hospital! Otherwise the rental home was beautifully & tastefully appointed. The bed was super comfortable and the weekly housecleaning service was a real treat! Pleasant Staff and nicest homes! 5 of 5 Stars Lakeview Homes has some of the nicest homes to stay. I had the pleasure of staying in two amazing waterfront homes. They were well equipped, very clean and all the amenities of home. My lengthy stay allowed me the opportunity to really get to know Nanaimo for now which I call home.
