Home Away from Home for Family of Five 5 of 5 Stars we spent 4 nights in this house over Christmas 2012. Karin was super helpful and accommodating upon our arrival, and also went the extra mile to put out Christmas decorations ahead of time to help make our stay feel festive and homey. There was enough countertop and fridge space to bring in groceries for our stay, and the cupboards were well stocked with everything we needed to cut, cook, bake, serve and enjoy our meals, and had a very special Christmas day dinner there. Appliances were clean and well functioning, as were the bathrooms. Bedrooms were great, although it took us one hot night to understand how to keep it cooler in one of the kids’ bedrooms! Master bedroom was large, and it was nice to have an ensuite. The living room was large enough for us all to relax, spread out and enjoy the TV, the fireplace or the views of the lake. Because it was December, we didn’t use the outside facilities as much as a summer visitor would, but enjoyed a walk along the pathway and got a good feel for how much fun we could have in the summer. Just a short walk to the public beach, or stay close to the house and make the most of the back lawn and dock. We are grateful that we found a house for our stay. Having more space, having the ability to cook meals, and being in a location that has immediate recreational possibilities is what makes it so much more comfortable for a family than staying in a hotel. We were able to reduce our eating out costs, and make ourselves at home for a few days while visiting aging parents nearby. A Christmas to remember for sure! H&A (Calgary, Alberta) December 2012

Wonderful Vacation Home This home has it all!! We spent a week in the home with my husband, daughter and me, it was perfect. Located so close to the lake, in a quiet neighborhood the home has plenty of room and the backyard is incredible. We had family visit us there and commented on the great place. The accommodation was amazing and we never had a problem! Had a wonderful stay here! Loved the lake and the community. The location was splendid and we enjoyed the kayaks as well as the canoe. Excellent accommodation! Lakeside was a great home for us to stay at while on a golfing trip. The view was fantastic, so close to the lake, the house was a treat after our long days on the golf course. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck at night, having a BBQ, The location was so close to everything. The home is well maintained and very clean. Thanks for everything. See you in September. Karin, we had a wonderful comfortable stay (group of 7 3 adults and 4 kids) the beach and lake were fantastic, so was the fishing!  Very friendly community and Karin made us feel very comfortable and welcomed here.  We only had a week here but we fit a lot of sightseeing into it.   Cannot wait to come back, hopefully next year!
